He denied any nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fever, frank blood or dark stools. Patient reported to have “normal” bowel movements and was unaware of anyone around him being ill. He had no known medical history, no known surgical history and was on no medications at this time. Upon assessment he had a soft, flat abdomen with guarding and rebound tenderness.
